Fixed Commitments

Events in Motion are immovable by design. Once scheduled, they hold their time slot and Motion will not automatically reschedule them.

Behavior

• Events always take precedence over tasks.

• If a conflict arises, tasks are shifted or flagged, but the event remains fixed.

• Booking link events, external calendar meetings, and personal appointments are all treated as fixed commitments.

Why it matters This rule preserves the reliability of your calendar. Tasks remain flexible, but events anchor your schedule so you never miss a meeting or double-book important time.
