We are excited to introduce our new "Projects & Tasks" tab. We are simplifying the sidebar navigation to help you manage tasks more efficiently through a consolidated projects and tasks view.
With automated task migration, your favorite views like "My Tasks" and "All Projects" are now pinned to your favorites for immediate access. This update reduces clutter and makes it easier to focus on what matters.
What happens to My Tasks?
My tasks becomes a Private View under Projects & Tasks
This view will be automatically added for you and pinned as the first pinned view in your favorites.
It will be added as the second to last View in the Projects & Tasks Tab for each team
What happens to All Projects?
All Projects also becomes a Team View under Projects & Tasks.
This view will be automatically added for you and pinned as the second pinned view in your favorites.
It will be added as the last View in the Projects & Tasks Tab for each team
How to Navigate the New Projects & Tasks Tab
Getting started is straightforward. Follow these steps to maximize the new functionality:
- Locate the Projects & Tasks Tab:
- Open your Motion dashboard and click on the newly labeled "Projects & Tasks" tab at the top of your sidebar.
- Identify Pinned Favorites:
- Your "My Tasks" view appears as the first pinned favorite, with "Project Timelines" following right after.
