I’m excited to share a feature you’ve been eagerly awaiting: the ability to copy project workflow templates to different workspaces. This enhancement streamlines your project management process, making it easier to replicate successful workflows across various teams and projects.
How to Copy a Project Workflow Template to a Different Workspace
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to use this new feature:
1. Navigate to Your Workspace
Start by going to the workspace that contains the project workflow template you want to duplicate.
2. Access Project Templates
Click on Settings in the sidebar, then select Project Templates. You’ll see a list of your existing project workflow templates.
3. Duplicate the Template
Find the template you’d like to copy and click on the Duplicate button.
4. Choose the Destination Workspace
A prompt will appear asking you to select the workspace where you want to copy the template.
5. Customize Copy Options
You’ll be presented with three options:
- Copy Custom Fields: Include all custom fields used by the template in the new workspace.
- Auto-Invite Assignees: Automatically invite any assignees from the original workspace to the new one.
- Copy Missing Labels: Transfer any labels that don’t exist in the destination workspace.
6. Duplicate the Template
Click on Duplicate Template to proceed with the copying process.
7. Edit the Template (Optional)
After duplicating, you have the opportunity to make edits to the template in the new workspace.
8. Save and Close
Once you’ve made any necessary changes, click Save and then close the template editor.
